I often get asked about knuckleball catchers mitts and the answer is tough — you can’t get one.
Rawlings makes the Pro Sparks but they only make a few per year, and you need to be on a pro roster to order one. I’m lucky enough to own a Pro Sparks but the glove is too far out of reach for the average knuckler.
So I’m happy to announce the Knuckleball Nation Knuckleball Catchers Mitt. I’ve designed the mitt to be exactly like a Pro Sparks with one important difference — The Knuck Nation Mitt is 35 inches rather than the 36 inches of the Rawlings glove.
This comes after hearing my catchers complain about the size of the Pro Sparks. They said it was too big. And I listened.
This glove is lightweight, the leather is firm so it will last a long time, and it’s essentially a blend of a first baseman and catchers mitt.
Perfect for catching those butterflies.
